How to make sure Users don't get approval mails?

Well sometimes we do come across some requirements where we need to use a particular person as approvers however we don't want them to receive the actual approval mails. Instead the actual mail can be delegated to someone else but in UI it should show only the approver to which it was set to. 

Follow the below steps to achieve this requirement. 

1. Create the Approval process with the Approvers and select Delegated checkbox so that Delegated Approvers can approve the request. 
2. Go to that particular User's page and edit that, you should see the following dropdown











3. Select Never in the "Receive Approval Request Emails" field and populate the Delegated Approver user here to the user you want the approver request to be routed to.


This way, in UI the submitter would see the name of the Approver, however the request would be routed to the Delegated user.

What is Gamification?  According to Wikipedia, Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. Gamification commonly employs game design elements to improve user engagement. A collection of research on gamification shows that a majority of studies on gamification find it has positive effects on individuals. Salesforce has this feature for Community. If we go to Workspace->Gamification, we find these options. We can create badges by uploading images (Resolution - 128*128) and by giving it a name. Then we have Mission, where we can automate assigning badges to users based on some actions that the user performs. For example, if user posts 10 times in Community, then we can automatically assign a badge. However there are only certain set of actions where we can use Missions. Details can be found here .
